Polyethylene plastic is the most widely used plastic and made from a thermoplastic polymer.
Low density Polyethylene (LDPE) is an inexpensive plastic material that is chemically resistant and can be very durable due to its soft, stretchy, flexible nature.
Packaging materials such as garbage bags or sandwich bags are produced by using LDPE. Other examples for using Polyethylene bags include containing and transporting goods such as food, produce, powders, ice, magazines, chemicals and waste.
Nursery planting bags are also made from Polyethylene and have UV stabilizers included into the mix which helps them last longer in the harsh outdoor environments.
